Hi. I’m Steven. I’m aged in my mid 20’s and live in Adelaide, Australia. By day I am a computer warrior (well, systems administrator). By night, I plan adventures. This is my adventure weblog.
Thanks to many low cost carriers flying between Australia and the rest of the world, it’s possible to get as far as Europe for very little money. I’m lucky enough to have, for the time being, a job with flexibility to allow me to take advantage of some of the cheap tickets that are now appearing.
By choice, I usually travel alone and stay at hostels or other cheap lodgings. I do like certain luxuries, such as warm water and air conditioning, wifi, and I prefer my own room over a dorm. I’m just as happy eating good street food as I am enjoying degustations at Michelin starred restaurants, I like museums and galleries and other cultural attractions just as much as I like bars and relaxing or partying with other travellers, I’ll climb mountains one week and scuba dive the next, and happily change plans to spend a week somewhere if I like it.
This site is more for me to keep a record of my travels and thoughts than it is for you to read about them, but you’re welcome to join the adventure and leave comments along the way.
